Transcript Submission Deadlines
Students who have applied to a four year university must submit an official transcript from all colleges attended by the given deadline. It is crucial to submit the transcripts as requested to maintain the application status. Failure to submit an official transcript from all colleges attended may cause your application to be declined or your admission offer to be rescinded. The following is a list of CSU and UC Campuses with their deadline to submit preliminary* and final** official transcripts for Spring and Fall Admissions, (please check their website and your portal page to confirm the dates as they may change).
CSU Campuses
CSU campuses may require students to submit two official copies of their transcripts, one after submitting the application and one after the final grades of the final term have been posted. The chart below reflects the preliminary and final transcript submission deadlines:

UC Campuses
UC Campuses do not require a preliminary transcript*. Students are required to submit only one set of official transcript(s) to the campus that they have accepted the Admission offer from by the deadline listed below:

* Preliminary transcript is a transcript that reflects all courses completed and courses in progress prior to transfer. For example, students who apply in October to a CSU campus for the following fall term, must submit a preliminary official transcript by the given deadline to reflect the grades for the current fall term and in Progress courses in the Spring term prior to their Transfer.
** Final Transcript is a transcript that includes all grades prior to transfer. For example, Transferring to a CSU campus in fall term, students must submit the final transcripts that includes the final grades for the Spring term prior to their Transfer.
Private and Out of State Universities
You should check with the individual campuses for the requirements and deadlines as each campus has a different deadline and requirements.

NOTE: San Mateo County Community Colleges District (SMCCCD) issues one transcript for all three Colleges (Cañada College, College of San Mateo, and Skyline College) within our District. If you have attended one or all three campuses, you may request only one transcript from one of these three colleges. Your transcript will include all courses completed in our district by term and campus. You may sign into WEBSMART to request an official transcript.
If you have attend a college outside of SMCCCD and/or a university, you may request an official copy of your transcript(s) directly from those institution, even though you have transferred those units to SMCCD district. To request an official transcript form other colleges and universities, you may contact the Admissions and Records of that institution or their website to learn about their transcript request process.
